The aim of Allez Sports is to help you stay healthy. Exercise is medicine, one of the only activities that are free and as recommended by the latest guidelines, 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week at a moderate intensity will help you stay healthy.
 
Sometimes it is best to have an exercise specialist help you stay motivated. Coach Forsman is an exercise physiologist who has the knowledge to help you stay healthy or improve your performance with scientific principles.

50 minute exercise session based on your individualized assessment. Package prices are available upon request.

Susan will provide a comprehensive program according to your goals. In the hour of exercise we will concentrate in the following areas: flexibility, core, balance, power, and cardio respiratory exercises.

You will reduce body fat, enhance flexibility and balance, improve core strength, increase cardio-respiratory capacity, increase agility and you will feel better.

 



Oxygen Consumption—starting at $85.00


Measurement of VO2max or PeakVO2 will provide a true assessment of fitness level. The CardioCoach test will provide heart rate exertion at a determined point of exhaustion, it is vital information to design a customized workout and to see your progress over time.
In addition, a CardioCoach test will also measure how many calories are burned during a workout at every exercise heart rate level.
             A VO2 test will also show the anaerobic threshold. Anaerobic threshold is the level of exercise intensity beyond which the body can no longer provide adequate oxygen to the muscles. Exercise below the anaerobic threshold should be comfortable even though the exercise extends for long periods.

Exercise above the anaerobic threshold will improve cardiovascular fitness. The results of the test will make your workouts more efficient.

 

 

Resting Metabolic Testing—Starting at $45.00


Metabolic rate, or metabolism, is the rate at which the body expends energy. This is also referred to as the “caloric burn rate”.
Knowing metabolic rate is vital for weight control and balance. Testing your metabolic rate will determine exactly how many calories you need to cut to lose weight.

How many calories do you need to consume a day to stay in a weight management zone?


Every individual is different and you are not the exception. Allow yourself to learn more about the healthy ways of staying out of the doctor's office.

 


Lactate Threshold Testing - $55.00


The maximal lactate steady state or the lactate threshold is the single best indicator of endurance performance. Most athletes in order to improve performance must train at very high levels but it has to be in a monitored environment. For example a coach can design effective workouts using the results of your lactate threshold to avoit overtraining.

The lactate threshold is best used to evaluate the results of your training program. It is the best marker to evaluate whether all those hours of training are paying off.


 

Designing an Exercise Room—starting at $40.00


Planning and advice to set up a workout space or room to make your exercise doable at your own home.

Using what you already have at home, Susan will design a space for your convenience. A small budget of $200 will give you the essential tools to have a successful space to workout.
